New "room mate"

I was on the road getting some things for my ball python today.

I have to admit that I always said that I was NEVER going to buy a reptile from a pet shop or a DIY superstore (if you live in germany you´ll know Futterhaus and Obi). Animals there just seem to be uncared for to me. But today I really couldn ´t help it.

In one of the habitats I found a 2009 hatchling classic cornsnake.

I think it´s a male.

When your pets go "lol"?

Weird? Came home today and wondered where my python Hyzenthlay had gone... ripped her habitat apart to find her...maybe she snuggles under that hollow bark? or under her heat stone?in the cave?

nope...

snake´s gone MIA and the panic (mine) broke loose. The habitat was closed! How did she break out???????

Looked at my mildly confused dog while running around, kneeling on the ground and trying to find out where the goddamn lovely thing had gone...well due to the fact that my dog can´t speak I couldn´t ask her if she´d seen her sneaking around the corners...

*Sighs*

Well 15 minutes later I found her sleeping in one of my shoes...again... WEIRD???

Now she´s climbing ´round my arms, on my keyboard and now on my headphones WHILE I wear them o.O...before that she did some "exercises" on my Shiva statue.

May I introduce?

This is something none- make up related but I thought I might share this with you. As I told you in one of my very first posts I do have a little dog and two corn snakes.

In addition to this  I got a 3 weeks old royal python (python regius) on thursday! I´m so excited. That little thing is so cute, very mild tempered, very curious, has never been fed before and came all the way from Togo, Africa :-)

I don´t know if it´s a female or a male yet (you can´t be absolutely sure because of the very young age), but "she" looked quite girly so I called her Hyzenthlay, named after one of my favorite characters of the book Watership Down.

Isn´t she sweet? She´s very calm even when my dog´s around.
